APPOINTMENT POLICY
Bookings
Payment is required upon booking. The consultation and changing time is included in the allocated treatment time.
Arrival time
Please arrive on time for your appointment and arrive no earlier than at least five minutes prior to the start time of your appointment.
If you don’t turn up for the scheduled appointment, no refund will be issued. It will be under the discretion of Leah Hudson if the missed appointment will be carried over to another booking at a convenient time at no extra cost.
Turning up to an appointment late
If you are late to an appointment, this could result in a reduced treatment time, or a cancellation charged at full price.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, please let us know before you attend your appointment so that I can ensure you have the safest and most comfortable experience with me.
Cancellations
I understand things crop up at the last minute and changes to our day can happen unexpectedly. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible so I can offer the appointment to someone else.
I will be happy to reschedule the appointment or refund you, however if you cancel the appointment in 48 hours or less, no refund will be issued. On the basis that payment hasn’t already been taken, I require payment at the full price of the booked treatment.
If I have to cancel appointments then I will aim to give 48 hours’ notice and will either reschedule the appointment, or refund you within five working days.
Location
There is free on the road parking available outside of the premises. If you are arriving by bus, the nearest bus stop is approx. a five minute walk. Leah Marie Holistics is located in a small cosy garden sanctuary and there is only space for one person per treatment.
Accessibility
To access the premises, there are a small number of steps before you reach the treatment area, so if you need support walking up the steps, please let me know upon booking and I will come and help you.
All of the treatments requires you to be able to get on and off a treatment couch so that you can lie down for your treatment. I want to make my treatments as accessible as possible, therefore if you are unable to get on to the treatment couch then I can adapt the session to suit you. This requires a little more preparation on my part, so please could you let me know upon booking your treatment so I can adapt to your needs and ensure the room is ready for you.
Attendee behaviour
I will end a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates any inappropriate behaviour.
I will refuse to treat a client if I believe them to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
I will ask clients to vacate where necessary if clients show any signs of aggression or are behaving disrespectfully.
Consultation form
I will require you to complete a consultation form prior to your treatment and discuss any concerns you may have. See the Privacy Policy for more information on this.
PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy applies between you, the user of this website, and Leah Hudson, owner of Leah Hudson’ website and holistic therapies. Leah Hudson takes the privacy and confidentiality rights of your information very seriously. This privacy policy applies to our use of any and all Data collected by Leah Hudson or provided by you in relation to your use of the website and completion of consultation forms for treatments of holistic therapies.
The following information explains how your personal information is processed and stored. This is in accordance with the guidance for required accountability and transparency to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

Leah Hudson collects personal data in the following ways:
- Personal data is given to us by you
- When you contact us through leahhudson.co.uk, completing a consultation form to receive our services, by telephone, email, or SMS and participating in surveys
- Personal information to support you and monitor progress throughout working together can include;

- Contact details (address telephone and email)
- Occupation
- Current medical and lifestyle information
- Cautionary information
- Summary of session.
Keeping Data secure
Leah Hudson will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your Data, for example:
- Your Data may be stored electronically, on password protected devices and on secure services.
- Your Data may be stored in paper form in a securely locked storage cabinet.

Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with regards to your personal data:

- You may request for your personal data to be deleted where it is no longer necessary for Leah Marie Holistics to retain your data.
Data retention
Leah Hudson will store your data for a minimum of seven years which is necessary to fulfil the purposes and requirements of the HMRC, professional bodies and insurance companies.
If you provide data upon enquiry as a prospective client but decide to not pursue working with Leah Hudson, then your Data will be deleted or securely destroyed within one month.
Links to other websites
Leah Hudson may, from time to time, provide links to other websites. We have no control over such websites and are not responsible for the content of these websites. This privacy policy does not extend to your use of such websites. You are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other websites prior to using them.
Sharing information
If there is an occasion where I may want to share your information with others, then Leah Hudson will ask for your consent before sharing the information and you will be advised of what it is Leah Hudson would like to share, for example a client testimonial.
There may be exceptions to this whether consent has been given or not, for example during a legal proceeding, complying with legal obligations, a court order or governmental authority.
If Leah Hudson believes there is a risk or serious harm to yourself or anyone else, Leah Hudson will inform appropriate agencies, for example your GP, the police, social services, a crisis team or safeguarding.
Severance
The data contained on this website is the sole property Leah Hudson. This website must not be used for any illegal, unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity. You may not use any content of this website without limitation or permission from Leah Hudson. You will not use any content of this website in any manner, in relation to malicious computer software.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Leah Hudson reserves the right to change this privacy policy as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on Leah Hudson website, and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the privacy policy on your first use of Leah Hudson website following the alterations.

EVENTS POLICY
Bookings
Payment is required upon booking. All bookings are non-refundable I’m afraid but if you contact Leah Hudson at least 48 hours ahead of the scheduled event, we will aim to accommodate you on another one of our events.
Arrival time
Please arrive at least 10 – 15 minutes ahead of the event start time. We can’t accommodate latecomers I’m afraid.
If you don’t turn up for the scheduled event, no refund will be issued.

Photography policy
Please do not take photos of event attendees unless you have permission from everyone attending, including Leah Hudson.
Event confidentiality
All of our events are safe spaces for people to share as much or as little as they wish. We ask you to be kind and respectful to other attendees and keep everything that is shared confidential.
